This week we have a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on March 3 at 6:38 am EDT (find your time here).

Eclipse season is in full swing and is bringing change to all of us.

Eclipses bring change, illuminate things we didn’t know about, and show us where we have work to do in order to grow and evolve. Lunar Eclipses occur on a Full Moon and are known for sweeping through our lives in order to push us to let go, release, and stop carrying around that old baggage.

This Full Moon is highlighting our need for perfection and how we need to just let it go.

While the Moon is in analytical Virgo, the sun is in Pisces, showing us where our need to control versus our need to create can come up against each other.

What can be illuminated for us under the rays of this Full Moon is how we can approach our creativity differently and instead of trying to control it, use the critical Virgo energy to weed out the wheat from the shaft, to help us find the gold buried in the plethora of ideas that we come across while the Sun is in Pisces.

This eclipse is opposite Mercury Retrograde, which can make it more difficult to conceptualize our feelings and put them into words. Language can feel murky now, where as you as you grasp it, it slips through your fingers. Don’t feel like you need to push through this if it comes up for you, or that something is ‘wrong’ with you. It’s just the astro weather. It will pass and clarity will come.

This Full Moon is calling us to release and let go of our need for perfection and control. Especially now that it is Pisces Season, we're really being called to go with the flow. Instead of relying on our analytical mind (Virgo) to determine our next steps and path, we’re being asked to turn into our intuition and see where the current takes us (Pisces).

• Where does perfectionism get in your way?

• Are you able to release control and go with the flow?
