In astrology, the New Moon is a time of new beginnings and wiping the slate clean. It's when you set your intention for the lunar cycle ahead and call into your life what you want - that could be a physical, tangible thing or something like more love, a joyful daily routine, or a deeper connection to your intuition.

The New Moon is in the sign of Scorpio - the often misunderstood sign that deals with the cycles of life and death, and often rebirth. Scorpio isn't afraid to peer into the shadowy depths that others shy away from.

Because of this, a New Moon in Scorpio is pretty much always intense and deep. It's a time of pulling back the curtain to see what's really there and driving the behind-the-scenes action. This Scorpio New Moon is perfect for reflective work, including therapy and shadow work. This energy is also great for investigating, getting to the bottom of things, and working with metaphysical tools like tarot. Scorpio isn’t afraid of looking at what motivates us and why we feel the way we do.

But this New Moon occurs alongside Mercury opposite Uranus, things can be unclear right now, as Mercury is currently retrograde. Uranus can bring sudden and unexpected changes and reactions, so it's up to us to take time outs as needed.
